The DVD Machine shows a fun, high-tech face that draws customers in and allows them to see advertising on the side panels. The sidebar content can be previews of new releases or local advertising. There is also a video screen that can show previews of new releases, or advertising for local businesses.
Customers can visually see all of the titles available in the machine through the clear face. The robotic arm moves the movies from the machine into the rental slot once a movie is selected. The machines have been expertly designed to be robust and hardy, as well as visually appealing.
Customers can swipe their card to see a DVD and review it for 10 minutes while deciding if they want to rent that particular title. If they choose to replace the DVD within 10 minutes, their card is not charged. This action can be done repeatedly.
